Bude Mystery
Treasure Trail

Give your grey matter a workout and challenge the kids big and small on this self-guided trail around Bude’s best bits.  Pick up your treasure trail guide and work your way through the puzzles and challenges, finding clues on buildings around Bude and at some of the town’s famous landmarks.  The trail is lots of fun and lets you really get to know your way around the beautiful seaside town.

Bude Sea Pool

Part natural, part man made, Bude Sea Pool sits in the rocks at Summerleaze Beach.  Sheltered by the cliffs above, the pool is a saltwater lido providing a safe place for the whole family to swim and enjoy the sea water, leaving those big Atlantic waves for the intrepid surfers.  Refilling twice a day at high tide, the sea pool at Bude is a great place to spend a lazy summer day with some spectacular sea views.

Atlantic Pursuits

Try your hand at something new during your Stoneleigh Knowle break! Whether you fancy a more sedate Canadian canoe paddle along the canal or a more heart thumping play in the waves on a surf or body board, Sam and his team are on hand to get you kitted up and offer all the expert tuition you could need.  Get the whole family into a 4 person canoe and really test those communication skills!

Tamar Lakes Country Park

Just a little inland from Bude is the activity filled Tamar Lakes Country Park.  Outdoorsy families will love exploring the park on foot with a great circular walk around the pretty lake – see what wildlife you can spot along the way.  Water babies can still get their fix too! Hire a dinghy or canoe and enjoy the park from the calm lake. It’s the perfect place to learn too with expert tuition and equipment hire on hand.

Milky Way
Adventure Park

Got a bunch of wannabe astronauts on your hands?  Head straight to the Milky Way Adventure Park for an out of this world adventure.  Start with a ride on the Milky Way Railway, some 600ft above sea level you’ll be treated to views all across the stunning coastline as you explore the park. Once you’ve got your bearings it’s time to tackle the rides – with something to suit everyone, the whole family is guaranteed a great day out!
